BECOMING BROOKLYN
Eighteen-year-old Brooklyn Blackburn never knew her father.
Rex Blackburn died in the 9/11 attacks five months before she was born. And even though she never met him, she always daydreamed about what he must have been like before he died. In her mind, he was a hero.
Little did she know.
Brooklyn learns that her father had been a member of an elite military, anti-terrorism task force, made up of a very select group of people. The Army believes she inherited his same gifts, and suddenly Brooklyn is invited to train at West Point. She and five other 9/11 babies learn to hone their abilities in order to protect our nation.
While they’re training for war, war comes for them.

ALLIE, ACCUSED
Nineteen-year-old Allie Christensen has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
When her parents go missing, police find Allie bloodied and bruised along a rarely-traveled road. After hours of not speaking, Allie eventually states that her parents’ bodies are in the ocean. Physical evidence at the scene of the crime points to her, and she is promptly charged with the crimes.
Allie proclaims her innocence. She says a man beat her up and killed her parents. She insists she knew where their bodies were because she saw him commit the crime. But her claims fall on deaf ears.
While preparing for trial, Allie’s lawyer arranges for her to go to a rehabilitation center specifically for juvenile delinquents. There, Allie meets a boy named Dominic, who has a dark history of his own. Despite his past, Allie is drawn to him. He is confident, seductive, and protective, and best of all, he seems to be the only one who truly believes that she’s innocent.
With Dominic by her side, Allie uncovers a secret about her family, and soon she’s not only risking her future to find out the truth about her parents’ deaths, but risking her life as well.
